Managing Director of Prizm Solutions Ltd, Peter Robinson has been appointed Regional Chair for the West Midlands by the British Insurance Brokers' Association (BIBA), taking on a key role representing insurance brokers across the region. 

As Regional Chair, Peter will act as the link between local insurance brokers and BIBA's national leadership, ensuring the views, challenges and opportunities facing brokers in the West Midlands are represented at a national level. The role also involves chairing the regional committee, supporting member engagement and helping deliver BIBA initiatives across the region. 

Peter has worked in insurance for over 40 years. He started in the industry at his father business H. Robinson (Midlands) Ltd in 1982, stepping up to become Managing Director following the death of his father in 1985 until he sold the business in 1989. He then became Sales Director at Cox Lee & Co Ltd, where he helped grow the business to a £10 million turnover before leaving to form Prizm Solutions Ltd in 2006 with his wife, Tracy Pound.  Prizm Solutions has grown tremendously over the last 20 years, including acquiring Keeley & Co in 2018, and now has a team of 16 brokers within the business.  

Working closely with other brokers, insurers and other industry stakeholders, Peter will work to strengthen collaboration within the insurance market, encourage professional development and help to promote best practice across the sector. In his new role, Peter will also contribute to discussions on regulatory and market issues through BIBA's Regional Chairs' Advisory Board, helping to shape the association's strategic direction.

The appointment reflects Peter’s experience and knowledge of the insurance industry gained over the last 40 years, as he’s often referred to as an ‘insurance influencer’. It also reflects Prizm Solutions' ongoing commitment to supporting both its clients and the wider insurance profession in its day-to-day business actions. By taking an active leadership role within BIBA, Peter and Prizm Solutions will continue to champion high professional standards, knowledge sharing and collaboration across the industry.
